Synchronizing with IP Availability Manager

After an
IP Availability Manager
is added as a topology source,
starts a synchronization program that probes the
IP Availability Manager
repository for device topology. The synchronization program probes for topology immediately after an
IP Availability Manager
is added as a topology source and then every time thereafter whenever:
  • The
    IP Availability Manager
    completes a discovery cycle.
Assumes AutoDiscover parameter in voip.conf file is TRUE (default).
  • The connection to
    IP Availability Manager
    is lost and then re-established.
    Each time that
    imports device topology from an
    IP Availability Manager
, it imports the entire device topology, sends SNMP polls and CLI commands to the devices to discover/rediscover VoIP objects, and adds those objects to the VoIP topology in its repository.
