Synchronizing with IP Availability Manager
After an
IP Availability Manager
is added as a topology source, starts a synchronization program that probes the IP Availability Manager
repository for device topology. The synchronization program probes for topology immediately after an IP Availability Manager
is added
as a topology source and then every time thereafter whenever:- TheIP Availability Managercompletes a discovery cycle.Assumes AutoDiscover parameter in voip.conf file is TRUE (default).
- The connection toIP Availability Manageris lost and then re-established.Each time that imports device topology from anIP Availability Manager, it imports the entire device topology, sends SNMP polls and CLI commands to the devices to discover/rediscover VoIP objects, and adds those objects to the VoIP topology in its repository.
