Full discovery

During the initial full discovery,
populates its repository with device topology from
IP Availability Manager
, and then probes the devices to discover routing topology. The initial full discovery occurs when an
IP Availability Manager
is added as a source to
, as explained in “Initiating discovery” on page 63.
Thereafter, whenever an
IP Availability Manager
source completes a discovery (an initial discovery, a full discovery, a pending discovery, or a single-device discovery),
re-imports device topology from the
IP Availability Manager
and performs a full discovery.
