IP Availability Manager
After an
IP Availability Manager
is added as a topology source, starts
a synchronization program that probes the IP Availability Manager
repository
for device topology and CLI device-access objects. Thereafter, the
synchronization program probes for topology and CLI device-access
objects whenever:- TheIP Availability Managercompletes a discovery cycle.
- The connection toIP Availability Manageris lost and then reestablished.Each time that imports device topology from anIP Availability Manager, it performs the following actions:
- Imports the entire device topology and all the CLI device-access objects.
- Sends SNMP requests and CLI commands to the devices to discover or rediscover routing topology objects.
- Adds those objects to the routing topology in its repository.
