Configure VMware Aria Operations Alert
Management
For Alert
management, you must configure the Domain Settings and collector.
Prerequisites
- must be installed and Kubernetes Management Pack must be deployed.
- Kubernetes Management Pack must be configured to manage the vRAN and 5G Core Kubernetes Infrastructure.
Configure Domain Settings
For steps to configure Domain Settings for the OI Server, see Add Domain Settings for OI Server topic.
Configure Collector
You can configure collector in two
modes:
- Standalone
- Cloud Instance
- Navigate to .
- In the 5G integration section, clickAddand depending on the requirement selectTCP-5G-CoreorTCP-RANfrom the drop-down menu.
- In theCreate Integrationsection, selectVIM/K8s.
- ClickNext.
- In the Description section, enter the name and description.
- In the Credentials section, selectBroker Host and Port.
- ClickNext.
- In the VIM and Kubernetes section, clickAdd.
Enter the following parameters when
is
configured in Alerts monitoring mode and Standalone instance type.

logs for alert management, set the log

Alert Type | For Standalone Instance and alerts monitoring mode, select
the alert type from the drop-down menu. Acceptable
options are:
